Metalheads - 26 x 12''
(2003)

Metalheads Academy was established for the training of the select few sons of local noblemen.

Well, I say the 'select few sons of local noblemen'. Plus five who stick out like laughing jesters at a funeral - a magician, a commoner, a young Hun, a girl… and Bob.

Just ordinary, every day kids who have extraordinary adventures. From helping escaped prisoners to helping out in the kitchen, stopping time to trying to stop Bob telling his terrible jokes… Basically, anything to escape Sir Fuddleby's classes on 'the best ways to shovel dung.'

Metalheads brings the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Bringing to the fore themes such as friendship, loyalty, chivalry and cutlery.

The fast paced humour has pigs bladders full of medieval banter and plenty of running jokes; Dangling Dan, the happiest dungeon dweller you've ever come across, zips in and out of scenes to throw in his two peneth, or in his case, his 12 groateth.

With Y-Fronts and Sandwiches amongst the modern-day references cropping up to keep our audience sitting comfortably, this series will amuse even the youngest wannabe knights.
