Based on the books by Sven Nordqvist, 'The Tomte Machine' (aka ‘Pettson’s Promise’) tells the story of the much loved Pettson and Findus at Christmas time. On a small farm in the Swedish countryside, Pettson has rather boldly promised his cat, Findus, that the Tomte will bring gifts for him on Christmas Eve. Not believing in the Tomte himself, Pettson decides to secretly build a Tomte machine so as to not disappoint Findus, but somehow a mysterious, magical force interferes….
The television series includes another 7 episodes telling the further adventures of Pettson and Findus in addition to the 'The Tomte Machine'.View a clip
